NSRC2024 - MATCH DAY 3 KEY NUMBERS

Game Week three of the Nile Special Rugby Championship had more points and closer games than the preceding weekends of play. I'll dive into key numbers from the just concluded round.

261 -  A total of 261 points were scored on game day 3, an increment from the 250 from game day 2.

43 - 43 different players contributed to the weekend's points, up from the 37 that contributed to game day 2 points.

18 - Kieron Erem scored the most points on Match Day 3 (18), in Pirates 42-13 victory over Warriors.

85.71% - Ivan Kirabo (Rhinos) had the highest goal success rate, amongst players attempting three or more kicks at goal. He missed only one of his seven attempts, as he registered 15 points off the boot.

14 - Rams left the most points on board, after their kickers managed only one successful attempt at goal out of six attempts. On the other hand, KOBs was the only team to drop 10+ points from missed kicks and still win their game.

5 - A total of 5 teams registered 20+ points on the scoreboard, down from the 8 that passed the mark on match day 2.

3 - Rhinos are the sole team to have won their first 3 games of the season. With Saturday's 30-20 win over Rams, Rhinos matched their overall wins tally from the 2023 Premiership Season.

2 - Rams and Warriors remain the only two teams without a win this season.
